Aaron sighed as he walked towards the beach; he wore only a pair of jeans, sneakers and his black jacket. His hair was tousled by the wind as he had walked here from where the ‘Kids Like Us’ Tour bus was sitting. Running a hand through his hair, Aaron glanced around a bit to see who all was there… From what he had heard, two girls from other bands would be here. Leaning against the bar, Aaron ordered himself his first beer of many, many more to follow that night. His hazel eyes glanced around the area that surrounded him. He could smell the smoke of the fire, as well as the salt from the salty breeze that slid in with the ocean. Hell, the sky above them was perfectly clear of any clouds, the beautifully dark night lit up by only the stars and the full moon. Speaking of the Full moon, it seemed as if the moon was at the part of its cycle where it was closest to the Earth. Truthfully it looked gorgeous, especially with how it shined down upon them and the water… With another sip of his beer, Aaron began to walk through the small crowd, knowing full well that soon it would be even fuller. All he could really think about though… was the fact that the police might even jump in if the bonfire got too wild… that was the only issue... other than that he loved these kinds of parties. ‘I wonder what will all happen tonight… then again, makes me curious as to whether those girls are coming…’ Aaron had to admit, he was a tad upset that none of the other members of Kids Like Us said they didn’t want to come. Then again he couldn’t exactly blame them… the guys were more laid back than outgoing partiers, like he was…

Charlotte left her hotel suite dressed and ready to go. She knew that this particular bonfire party was going to be very fun if nothing else. There would be several musicians there and well, to be honest, she had a thing for music makers. So that was also a plus. She fixed her hair as she walked along the boardwalk and the short distance down to the beach. It didn’t matter much how she looked considering that the wind was blowing her hair around wildly anyway so no amount of product was going to hold it in place. Besides, the sun had already set and the only light available was that of the moon and a few scattered tiki torches and a few hanging lanterns here and there. She doubted that anyone was going to really stare at how she was dressed anyway. They would be preoccupied by scoring alcohol and girlies to take home so she’d be incredibly lucky if she could fight her way through the crowd to find her buddies to have a good time with away from all of these crazy hormonal young adults. Truthfully, Char didn’t want anything to do with them. Boys like those were a dime a dozen and she much rather not risk her naïve little heart on a whim and someone who was just in it score.
Eventually, she met up with Alex, who was already pretty plastered from too much spiked lemonade. She felt bad that Jesse was being so hard on her for no reason. If Alex wanted to party, she should party with or without him. He wasn’t her boyfriend and he shouldn’t be such a grumpy pants about everything that she did. There was no reason to be jealous since he was invited to begin with but she supposed that Jesse and Alex had a lot of unsorted issues that needed to be resolved. Obviously, they loved each other very much, everyone could see that. So the sooner they got together, the better off they would be. Char thought that Jesse was incredibly insecure about himself anyway, he could use the confidence booster to get over Delilah for good and to move on with his life. The way he was living now wasn’t healthy. Looking over her friend, she sighed and placed the room key firmly in her hand and instructed her to go to the room, that she’d be there later to check up on her. Alex couldn’t go back to the bus like that, Jesse would flip and then Char would have to kick him very hard.
Upon finding Aaron, she cast him an apologetic smile. Alex has already tapped out. I sent her to the room. So I guess it’s just two, unless we find Chloe around here somewhere. Her eyes scanned the crowd to try and find the other blonde that was probably roaming around aimlessly. Now this little love triangle was about to get interesting because Chloe liked Jesse as well. It was a big jumbled up mess and that was one of the reasons why Char couldn’t stay on FSS’s bus. She loved her friends but she couldn’t be around their drama all of the time. What have you been up to so far? She asked him, noticing he was much older than she had originally had thought but that didn’t matter much anyway since they were just going to hang out to night and crash all day tomorrow.
