--------------------------------- The weight of his words hit her like a ton of bricks, "Sorry Daddy, I don't think I heard you correctly. You want me to do what now?" Well he just had to be kidding; this had to be some kind of joke, it couldn't be real. There was no way in hell that her daddy would make her do this. No. Not her Daddy. WHY?! Not that there was anything seriously wrong with this proposition. Hell, the band was one of the greatest she had heard in a while and she knew that the fan base was sticking around because of the quality of music. It also didn't hurt that the members of We're Awesome And Your Not! were incredibly hot. But this was....an odd request to make of a nineteen year old who honestly had no interest in the music business besides that she might consider being like...a lawyer for some big shot singer or something someday. Sure Chloe enjoyed music very much, it was very rare for you to find her without her Ipod in ONE of her pockets while she roamed the halls of OSU back in Ohio. Even rarer for you to find her without head phones hanging around her dainty neck, no matter what else she had on. Music was a natural part of life, just as major as breathing, and yet....she felt like she was being cheated out of the next six months with this proposition. Maybe it was because she still had to work? Yes, her actually working for the band had been thrown in there as a stipulated fact. If there was on thing her father was a stickler for, it was the cold, hard, facts. He didn't care about the fluffing that went into making these bands a success. If he didn't see it on the charts, he didn't see it at all. Chloe sighed softly as she sat perched on the edge of her father's large oak desk. As usual, he had skillfully broken the news to her, and informed her that she had no choice. Chloe M. Ullie would be going on tour for the next six months, as a spy more or less. She felt like a cheap person, tagging around with these bands just to see who was and was not working out. Though she didn't understand why her father didn't just trust the team of men he had working for him. He paid quit a pretty penny for them to be on his pay roll, yet he didn't trust them. Well, she supposed she couldn't blame him. They were a bunch of back stabbing ass kissers. A tiny pout graced her cherry blossom pink lips as they parted for a moment to take a drink from her big gulp. Six months on tour, she had to be a merchandise girl AND from what she could understand from listening in on her daddy's phone call to the lead singer Travis Michaels's lovely new bride, Delilah would be babysitting her. How ridiculous was that? Delilah was only older than her by a handful of months, otherwise they would be the same age! Oh well. What could she do honestly. Her father wanted her to do this, and her mother would support just about anything her father said because Daddy had his woman wrapped oh so tightly around his pinky. The more Chloe thought about it, the least of a horrible thing she saw it as. It mean getting to be on a bus with the members of WAYN for hours on end. And possibly a make over, with the help of an amazing model who worked for a french clothing line. Not to mention there would be cute boys, and plenty of freedom to drink and smoke if she wanted to. By the time the buzzer rant to let her know that Daddy and Travis were on their way in, Chloe found herself smiling from ear to ear. Okay. So maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all! --------------------- Tag: Travis Outfit: Here! Words: 671 Notes: Oy. I thought Travis should know what he's being forced into. =)

Travis was becoming very busy preparing for the upcoming tour. He spent hours going over every single detail with Mr. Ullie and his tour manager to ensure that everything would be going smoothly. The double headlining tour was going to be only a little bigger than last year’s but still arrangements were to be made. Hotel rooms booked, banners made, routes marked, merchandise ordered, and contracts to be signed. All of this and they were to start next week. He was beginning to think that it wouldn’t ever be done in time but if he knew his manager, it would get done. Travis trusted the man with everything since he had discovered them two years ago and was the reason for their success and their record deal. He always got a hefty commission of 12% and showed no signs of complaint ever. It was one of the reasons why the man was still on board with them. Travis doubted that the other bands had such an efficient management team but it didn’t matter since We’re Awesome and Say My Name would be joining forces and taking care of everything… they’d be running the show.
Travis had been having breakfast with Delilah when he got a call from his manager to come down to the office to settle some more questions and approve some designs for set backgrounds. He had the final say since he was voted by the band to make all the decisions on their behalf. Of course this made him busier but it made him more in control of his band’s direction and he liked that very much. I’m sorry, Delilah. A pout crossed his lips as he broke the news to her. For a split second, he had a flash back of when he was running out on Amanda for the very same reasons. The only difference was Travis was absolutely sure that Delilah wouldn’t betray him for something so petty; it was out of his control and it was his career they were talking about. I’ll meet you for lunch, promise. And he always kept his promises the best that he possibly could. After kissing her cheek lightly, he left and went on his way to the offices, which were a distance across town. Within a reasonable amount of time, Travis arrived and parked in his special artist parking. ID in hand, he was able to get past the first secretary without showing it and took the elevator up to the fourth floor conference room.
The meeting was short; only about an hour. It would have been longer but the color scheme of neon colors was perfectly acceptable due to their artwork for their newest album. It matched and he saw no problems really. After a few more decisions, the man dropped the news on him. Mr. Ullie’s daughter, Chloe would be joining them on tour. Specifically, on his bus. With all due respect sir, do you think that’s a good idea? he knew that his question was pointless since the man already had his mind made up. How was he going to party and relax having Miss Chloe aboard probably noting his every movement. No one was supposed to know what went on behind closed bus doors and now they would have a mole. Ugh, he didn’t particularly need this kind of stress but he couldn’t say no. Chloe would be a major c-block to everyone on tour so it was obvious she needed a distraction so she would mind her own business. When do I meet her? Conveniently, Chloe was already waiting for them in his office and Travis guessed that was their next stop.
Upon reaching the office with his boss, he was surprised a bit. She looked familiar but he couldn’t note where he had ever saw he before. Travis had seen millions of faces in his life so he shouldn’t be held accountable for knowing every single place he met someone. She looked young, very young, but she was still cute in that little sister kind of way. He had to keep in mind that it was inappropriate to treat her like she was twelve though so it would be hard to find middle ground. Although Travis was only twenty one, he felt slightly older for some reason now that he was married. Hey so are you packed yet or what? First date’s in a week.
